Happy 2 Day

I’m working on compiling everything from the past couple months into some monster posts. Evan and I share the same sentiment about it all…

Some days are a little rougher than others. Some days little boys like to wake up at 6:15 am and only take a 1 hour nap. Some days will be pretty rough when little boys are too busy go-go-going instead of resting. It’s probably part being a 2-year old, part growing pains, part not feeling great, and part not sleeping much that gave us a little cranky boy today. He’s been a little more on the cranky side ever since he turned 2. But I think that just comes with the age.

Speaking of 2, today Evan is 2 years + 2 months + 2 days old!

Sorry for being so far behind. We are working on it. Oftentimes it is difficult to stomach sitting in front of a computer after sitting at one all day at work. Slowly we’ll get there. Thanks for your patience.

There’s a reason they call it the terrible twos. Wait until you get to the threes. I’ve yet to find an adjective descriptive enough for the threes… terrifying, trying, troublesome, threatening (as in: if you keep that up I promise you will regret it.). 🙂

I remember when mine were two. It will pass. Although I didn’t think much of 3 or 4 either. Just saying… By 5 they were starting to be totally interesting and hardly ever horrible. *grin*
