Just a quick note to let everyone know that we were discharged from the hospital this evening and are now enjoying being back at home with Evan. Evan was pretty fussy this morning but that has passed and he is nearly back to his normal happy self aside from a nasty cough from being intubated. We have a follow up appointment tomorrow with the cardiologist and with the surgeons office to talk about all of the do’s and don’ts of the g-tube. Here are some pictures from today. TUBE FREE! 🙂
Home!

Wow! I got behind on reading (Madison had her Glenn last week) and I missed a lot! Bless you heart… cannot imagine how scary that was.
We have had to take Madison to a local hospital once (ER). It was a children’s hospital – a good one at that. However, it was still very obvious that they rarely work with kids like Madison. I felt like I kept having to re-explain her condition to drs and nurses. They were thorough, just not as experienced.
I am glad you are home and hope that your sweet one can start feeling better.
Sincerely,
Brandi
