It looks awesome from a few feet away but it needs A LOT of touching up. I didn’t do a good enough job pressing the edges of the tape down so it leaked through here and there. Sarah already started doing the touch up work

Holy awesome!! FYI for future painting projects like this…the key to perfect lines is to paint over the edges of the tape with the color under the tape…that way if there’s any leakage it’s the same color that’s there and it “seals” the tape so the next color you add won’t leak.

Thanks for the tip Robin. Sarah mentioned that also but since I bought the special blue tape with “Edge Guard” I thougt it would be ok without the extra work… lies. It turned out ok, and Sarah made quick work of the touch ups and now it’s looking even more spectacular.
